Channel Launches in High-Definition on Shaw Cable in Time for Thanksgiving Marathons


TORONTO, October 5, 2011– Food Network Canada’s most mouth-watering dishes and dramatic kitchen flare-ups are about to be more tempting and intense than ever before.  As of today, the channel will be available in High-Definition for the first time ever through Shaw Cable. The channel will continue to feature the best in food-centric entertaining programming that is now more vivid with a clear and true-to-life picture quality. Food Network HD will be available on free preview to Shaw Cable customers on channel 232 through November 30th.

Launching just in time for Thanksgiving, Canadians can enjoy Food Network’s marathons of entertaining holiday themed content in superior high definition image quality.
